The OpenDMIS

Status Panel
The OpenDMS Status Panel keeps you informed of critical
information and provides access to
additional functionality in a flexible
tabbed interface. Each tab is a tear-off tab
to allow easy positioning, viewing and
interaction with multiple status panel tabs.

There are two DRO tabs to
provide quick and easy view of
locations in multiple
coordinate systems.
Changing the displayed coordinate system is
as simple as Drag and Drop: drag
the desired coordinate system
from the dual database and drop
onto the DRO tab.
DRO's can be locked and resolution can be changed providing complete control of presented coordinate location data.

The Machine Positioning Panel provides access to multiple methods to position a DCC CMM.
Absolute, relative and vector positioning are available.
A Virtual Joystick and a position grabber
aid in offline programming.

The Sensor Setting Panel provides access to
common sensor settings such as
Approach and retract, Depth and Search.
Automatic clearance values can by added by simple drag and drop of a feature onto the Clear Surface box and
specifying the distance.

The System Message Panel presents a list of all system messages
and errors during an OpenDMIS
session. The messages are presented
with both numerical error numbers
and easy to understand text.
The messages can be saved to a text file for later review.
